does the D2X gave a full size CCD? ie: is there a lens multiplication factor?

Nikon D2X is same multiplier as D1X – 1.5X, jumps to 2X when you use the fast, small file mode – less reale estate on the chip. They say its out in Jan. My guess is March. There was a model at the photo show at Javitts in Oct. You could look but not images – no working card slot. felt good but who knows? There also seem to be more digital only lenses in the pipeline by Nikon. I don’t think they plan any full image size (35mm) chip ever. At 12.4 megapixels it’s as dense or denser a ccd array as any of the full size chip cameras – Kodak or Canon.
