Canon Flash Replacement Parts in EU

Hey,

Smashed my Canon 580EX flash cos I’m a fool, Took it apart and kinda just need the a new bottom end around the hot shoe. Anyone have any contacts or know of places to get replacement parts? Also looking for an unbroken big toe and some common sense too.

I had a 420EX meet a ceiling fan once – that probably makes me a fool too – and was able to fix it after ordering a few bits from Canon.

I was in Canada and just called Canon parts dept., they faxed me the technical diagram of the flash and all I had to do was identify the part number and call them back to order it. I received it in the mail a few days later.
