Cédric Bosquet is free-lance photojournalist. Since 2006, he mainly covers social issues and human-interest stories. The key objectives of his photographic and journalistic approach are to bear witness to situations where inequity still prevails and to highlight better, alternative models. Raising awareness of social issues, and thereby contributing towards a solution, is the ultimate goal.
Cédric is graduated from SPEOS (Paris Photographic Institute) in 2009. He speaks fluently french and english along with some german, spanish, russian and nepalese notions. Cédric has also several engineering qualifications and many years of experience in the field of engine acoustic (graduated from INSA de Lyon, ISVR of Southampton University, Institut Français du Pétrole and ADFA of Canberra).
In january 2010, he was awarded with the prize ‘Photographic Discovery’ by UPC / Dupon with his reportage about the Aravind Eye Care System in India.
Cédric is currently based in Paris and is available for assignments both in France or overseas
