About

i am from columbus, ohio, went to undergrad at the columbus college of art and design, then to new york city to intern with mary ellen mark, then went to the virginia commonwealth university in richmond, va. for grad school. after that i lived in richmond for 5 years and worked as a staff photographer at a local magazine called style weekly, home style , family style and inside business. i was also freelancing for the new york times, washington post, time, and a few others. i shot an ad campaign for ups and oylmpus camera for the martin agency before deciding to jump into the madness of new york…. now i’m here , like a ga-zillion other photographers trying to make a living at what i love …....
the best thing about this city is that we are all surrounded by people who are good at what they do….i recently returned from my second trip to afghanistan.
