Charles Custodio is a graduate of the Multimedia Arts program at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
He is the former photo chief of the official school newspaper, The Benildean.
His first encounter with photography was during his first basic photography class, a requirement in his multimedia arts course.
Since then, photography has become his passion and medium for expression.
During the Philippine Fashion Week in 2006, Charles was among the few students selected for the Student Photographer Apprentice Program of Runway Productions and Sony Philippines.
Charles’ interest in cars and motor sports also became a part of his photographic journey.
He has contributed to a number of publications including Top Gear Philippines – the only English edition of the magazine outside the United Kingdom.
Charles is a semi-finalist in the Hasselblad Masters Awards 2008 and is currently enrolled in the photojournalism program of the Konrad Adenaeur Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Charles was also one of the participants in the Free Workshops during the 4th Angkor Photography Festival held recently in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
He is currently employed at HWM Philippines.
