Cheapo optical viewfinder?

I am looking for a 28 and 35mm OVFs that I can mount on a compact camera.
Since this is fairly experimental (dremmel tool might be involved), I do not want to break the piggy bank.
Any decent (russian?) OVF and a place to buy them?
