The city of Nablus is often described as The Prison of the West Bank . The
city came under Israeli occupation following the Arab-Israeli War of 1967.
Nablus has long been a center of Arab nationalism, and the city’s
Palestinian refugee camps exacerbated tensions between residents and Israeli
troops. This series documents daily crossings of Palestinians in the
Occupied Territories at beit iba in Nablus city .
