I am a photojournalist and photo editor based in Dallas, Texas. My primary focus as a photographer has turned from news & sports to documentary weddings. I have shot over 100 weddings in the DFW area and around the country since 2004.
As a news photographer, I covered numerous presidential campaigns, the White House, the Gulf War, seven Olympic Games, the World Series, Super Bowls and countless other sporting and news events.
Most recently, I have worked as the Deputy Director of Photography at the Dallas Morning News, overseeing one of the top photo staffs in the country. Previously, I worked for ten years as a staff photographer for Agence France Presse and for five years as the foreign/national picture editor at the Chicago Tribune.
I have served as photo editor on three Pulitzer Prize winning projects, including the Dallas Morning News coverages of Hurricane Katrina, which won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography, and the Iraq War, which won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography.
