Christopher Dick is a photojournalist whose 15 years of experience includes all digital mediums. Having worked for Fortune 500 companies in Singapore as a still photographer to being a photojournalist for Toronto’s top rated news channel his assignments have included documenting the water crisis in Native communities in the Arctic, following the lives of a fire brigade in Jamaica and being embedded with the military during relief operations in the disputed region of Kashmir after the 2005 earthquake.
In his capacity as a producer Chris has worked for the current affairs program about Internet culture, Webnation, as well as producing live coverage for multiple provincial and federal elections.
He now produces multimedia packages for both broadcast and web based news outlets.
Chris has taught journalism to at-risk youth in Florida at the Palm Beach Photographic Workshops and is an active member of the National Press Photographers Association and the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Born in Canada he grew up in the Philippines and Singapore and now lives Toronto.
He has a Graduate Diploma in New Media and a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy and International Relations
