Clearing the Air - new MediaStorm project at AsiaSociety.org

Clearing the Air: China’s Environmental Challenge, now on AsiaSociety.org

http://www.asiasociety.org/beijingair/

With the 2008 Olympics only days away, Beijing’s air quality is under close international scrutiny. But despite efforts to clean it up, air pollution still poses a serious issue for both China and the world.

Asia Society’s multimedia exclusive Clearing the Air: China’s Environmental Challenge looks at the overall causes of the problem. The project features “Longing for Blue Skies,” a new MediaStorm video with work by 12 international photojournalists, a daily Beijing photo diary documenting “blue sky days,” and other resources.
