Contrast in Lightroom
|
Ciao,
Need your help again..
When I open RAW files with Lightroom it brings so much contrast and saturation that I have to desaturate and decrease contrast and blacks at almost every picture! Can I adjust that in the application settings? I’d like the program to open files less saturated and contrasted, that’s all. Tried to do that in my cameras settings – surprisingly, it brought no change to Lightroom..
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks! Take care

Probably just create a preset and then apply it to all images in the “previous import” folder after each import. That’s what I do anyhow…

I also have problems with that

lightroom ignores camera settings for raw,
when you import into lightroom there is a little setting like “import as” or similar and just set it to something you like (a preset you have created). i used to use “zero’d”, dont use lightroom anymore.
photo mechanic reads raw data correctly and previews are as shot in camera, makes me happier as i shoot in b/w in camera (in raw) so never get distracted by the colours.

Ok, thanks for advise. Will try the mechanic soon.
