ink spots on epson 1200 inkjet prints

hey everybody,

when printing with my epson 1200 lately, i have gotten black ink smudges, spots and lines along the surface of the print. i believe that the little white rollers are dirty… covered with a bit of ink.

Has anybody had any experience with this? Has anybody discovered a good way to clean it up? the head cleaning utility never quite does the trick?
