The gallery/slideshow (with soundbytes) contains images from yesterdays (3:rd of January 2008) funeral of the murdered Sri Lankan parlamentarian Maheswaran. Maheswaran was gunned down when attending prayers in a temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka – 1:st of January 2008.

Civil society organisations accuses the government and president for running a “culture of impunity” in Sri Lanka.
