D70 Power Issue
|
My D70 won’t power up. When I put in a fresh battery into the body a green light in the back keeps blinking and no information appears on the LCD or anywhere for that matter. I thought it was a bad battery so I purchased a new one and I’m still having the same problem, any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like the "blinking green light of death (or BGLOD)", a common problem with the very first generation of D70 cameras. As far as I know, you can take it to Nikon and have it repaired at their cost.

Currious, I just having the problem this week. I correct the problem with a reset. I’m not sure if the problem will not re-appears. I hope that my camera will function correctly in the weeks to come. Keeps you inform of the situation.
