Exclusions

I was looking to change equipment insurance and I got a quote from Hays insurance company. Amongst all other things, I received a document that gave an exhastive EXCLUSIONS list. I am wondering if there is anything that is included to get the insurance agency for the claims? The list sort of suprised me. Would be thankful for your feedback and comments.

Photographers Equipment Coverage Form Exclusions

1. Government Action
2. Nuclear Hazard
3. War and Military Action
4. Dishonest or criminal acts committed by you or someone else
5. Voluntary parting with property by you or anyone entrusted with the property
6. Theft from an unattended vehicle; theft without forcible entry
7. Electronic or magnetic injury, disturbance or exposure of electronic recrodings or video tape
8. Any repairing, restoring, retouching or damage to covered property while actually being worked upon
9. Corrossion, rust, dampness, dryness, cold, heat, humidity, pollution, “fungus”, or exposure to light
10. Wear and tear

Deductibles:

All covered perils except theft – $ 500

Theft Deductibles

$1000; $ 1500 (5% credit off premium) or $ 2000 (10% credit off premium)

Deductibles are paid on a per occurance basis.
