Dagens Næringsliv, commonly known as DN, is Norway’s leading business publication with a circulation of 70,515 copies in 2004 (642,000 readers per week). It is published daily in tabloid format. The editor in chief is Amund Djuve.

Originally this newspaper was named Norges Sjøfartstidende. It was founded by Magnus Andersen in 1889. Dagens Næringsliv is owned by the media conglomerate Norges Handels og Sjøfartstidende, that also owns Tradewinds, Upstream, DagensIT, Smartcom, TDN, Nautisk Forlag, Intrafish, Fiskaren and Europower.
