Dan Achatz

Dan received his first Kodak camera in 1962. He drove his parents crazy begging for film and developing.

 In 1967, he bought his first 35mm SLR. It served him for many years. He used it to earn extra money in College selling stock pictures and doing senior portraits.

In 1975, Dan graduated with a degree in business and a minor in art. He spent the next 22 years ignoring his nagging need to tell stories with pictures.

 In 1997, Dan once again started buying camera gear with the idea of making a little extra money. Things have gone pretty well since then.

Dan’s pictures can be seen all over the web and in print.   

 Dan also does web design and video production.
