I am a full-time newspaper videographer. I’ve been asked more times than anything… So if you work for a newspaper, where do your videos go? Well, on the newspaper website. The Northwest Herald is a 40,000 circ paper in suburban Chicago. For a paper that size, we have a rather extensive website and multimedia content. In the two years I’ve been there, I’ve shot and edited over 200 videos and have won numerous awards. I also write and take stills when needed.
