Dave Getzschman (pronounced GETCH-man) is a Los Angeles-based photographer known for making colorful, communicative, emotion-filled images of people for clients spanning the editorial, corporate and commercial markets. To each shoot, he brings empathy for his subjects, humor appropriate for the occasion and a sense of joy for the creative process.
After award-winning work as a staff photographer at several newspapers in California, Getzschman began freelancing in 2005. His pictures have been published in Time, Newsweek, BusinessWeek, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Maxim and every major newspaper in America. Corporate clients include Apple, Cartoon Network, Earthjustice, Google, GoPro, Greylock Partners, LinkedIn, Square, Sun Microsystems, Sungevity and TechCrunch.
Getzschman frequently shares his 20 years of experience through lectures and workshops. He has taught in the United States, Europe and South America. His work has been featured in American PHOTO, Photo District News and Popular Photography magazines.
