David Sanger

Travel photographer David Sanger has photographed in over ninety countries, and makes his home in Albany, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a photojournalist, he sees photography as a transforming experience, an opening to the wonder and joy of life. ” I am continually amazed at the intricate variety and diversity of our world.”

In 1998 David was recognized as the Photographer of the Year by the Society of American Travel Writers. In addition to editorial clients he photographs for commercial, travel and non-profit clients and design firms in the US, Asia and Europe. In 2006 David was elected president of the Stock Artists Alliance, a professional association representing stock photographers worlwide. He is also a member of ASMP (American Society of Media Professionals), EP (Editorial Photographers), ASPP (American Society of Picture Professionals) and TJG(Travel Journalists Guild
