Daniel Lovering

Daniel Lovering is a journalist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His work has appeared in The Economist, BusinessWeek, Scientific American and The Boston Globe, among other publications. He worked for nine years as a staff reporter for international news agencies, primarily The Associated Press. Daniel has reported from 11 countries on subjects ranging from business and politics to natural disasters and conflicts. Before joining the AP in early 2002, he was a Bangkok-based correspondent for Agence France-Presse. He began working as a freelance journalist in 1995. Daniel is a graduate of Oberlin College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He was a Pew Fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s School for Advanced International Studies in 2000.
