Donang Wahyu is a Jakarta based freelance photojournalist. He covers Politic, Economic, Social, Culture, Nature and Environment in single photo and photo story.
Donang has worked for some major media in Indonesia. The last was for The Indonesia National News Photo Agency ANTARA, where he responsible to provide daily news photos for ANTARA’s customer ranging from politic, economy, sport, culture, social, nature and environment with national coverage area (from Aceh to Papua). He has explored almost all of Indonesia archipelagos during the work period.
Donang has selected by World Press Photo Foundation, Asia-Europe Foundation and Philippine Center for Photojournalism as a representative from Indonesia in The Asia-Europe Forum for Young Photographers 2006, to participate in photojournalism and photo documentary workshop session in Manila, Philippine.

Donang was involved with UNAIDS project to make photo stories of people living with HIV & AIDS around Indonesia (from Medan to Papua) on how Indonesian government, local and international NGO’s fight against HIV & AIDS.
He has also worked for several social development organizations, documenting their on-going or finishing project; UNAIDS, Asian Development Bank (ADB), AUSAID Indonesia, Indonesia National Tithe Agency (BAZNAS), OXFORD Business Group.
