Dred is a lawyer who dedicates her practice to the government but to define her by her day job is to otherwise ignore the depth of her potential. She is a hobbyist with diversified interests: literature, languages, the visual arts, tango, music and films. A bonne vivante, she has traveled extensively and perforce, her work is a reflection of her collective musings. The photographs are earthy but whimsical, and often playful. She works around simple subjects seen from the vantage point of an artist enamored by nature and unaffected by its ruins. Her creations draw us to see only the beautiful that one is left with little choice but to accede that her landscapes can be utterly described as, happy! With the sheer raw talent of an amateur in the bloom, she wields her lenses with the eye of a novice— resolutely receptive to learning, thus, creating visual compositions that are as innocent and honest as they are intriguing.
