duckrabbit www.duckrabbit.info (David White and Benjamin Chesterton) will be in Bangladesh for two weeks from the 10th of September. We have a grant from CBA/DFID to do some stories.

We have a very limited time but where possible we’re keen to meet with any local photojournalists who would like to learn more about turning their stories into multimedia. Those that already have a decent body of work and a particular interest in narrative storytelling.

Last year Benjamin worked with a young Kenyan photographer. The multimedia they produced was nominated for the Amnesty International Media award and picked up a POYi, so he has a good track record of empowering photographers to make the transition to multimedia.

duckrabbit will also be working with Rajibul Islam, who may not be getting the credit of some of the other amazing Bangladeshi photographers but recently put a very strong set here on Lightstalkers about the Royhinya people, who have been forced across the border from Myanmar.
