Eberhard Gronau is a Munich based freelance photographer who has worked on assignment for many magazines and newspapers in Europe. He has been one of the first shooters who turned to digital photography but still likes to shoot in black & white depending on the project.
His work has been published in several exhibitions in Germany, Tchechoslovakia and Spain. He is a member of the Photographers association FreeLens/Germany.
His current projects include “Holy Europeans” and “Reaching West”.
The first shows how the religious ceremonies and beliefs of old Europe survived the transition to a modern post industrial society. The second tries to capture Romanias hard move to integration in the EU.
