About
I’m an up and coming freelance photojournalist trying to make his mark. I currently have over 11 years of active duty military service. One tour in Kosovo in 1999 and two combat tours in Iraq with the 3rd Armored Cavalry. I was wounded in action in Tal’Afar, Iraq on June 25, 2005. Several years ago, I taught myself photography, how to compose and visualize, with disposable camera. These days I use an EOS-1D Mark II N and I’m discovering that photojournalism is where I belong once the military is finally done with me. So far I’ve only had one photo published on the front cover the March 6, 2006 issue of The New Republic. I’m still new to this, so hopefully I’ll be able to add more to my credentials.
