Eduardo Lima de Oliveira has a BA in Journalism and has recently completed a MFA in Documentary Media at Ryerson University, in Toronto. He has always been passionate and curious about other cultures and that pushed him to travel abroad. Eduardo had the opportunity to live in Europe and Southeast Asia.

He is the recipient of the 2010 Spot News Photograph of the Year Award by the News Photographer Association of Canada (NPAC), the Ryerson Graduate Award (2010) and he was selected to attend the XXIV Eddie Adams Workshop in upstate New York during the fall of 2011. His pictures have been exhibited in group shows at the Toronto Image Works and the Beaver Hall gallery in Toronto.

Eduardo is currently based in Toronto and is available for assignments anywhere within Canada and abroad.
