Edwin is a photojournalist, street, and occasional wedding shooter. He started off his career as stills photographer for movie film productions.) After the People Power in 1986, which he never covered, he joined The Manila Chronicle, covering the Senate, Malacañang palace, military and congress beats. In 1988, Asiaweek hired him as their first staff photographer. He covered major events, and photographed movers and shakers of the Asian region. He teaches street Photography in Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI). Currently he is the Vice President of Wedding & Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP) and Photography Roadtrippers, Inc.
