Emanuele (b. 1980) grew up somewhere on the seaside of northern Italy until he moved to Milan, where he studied Law and stumbled into Photojournalism when, already 25, he enrolled a course at CFP Bauer. Since then, he deals with issues related to italian current events, trying to sketch his native country out.
His pictures appeared in Le Monde, Io Donna, Internazionale, Monocle, Diario, Newsweek and Wired, among others. Emanuele is a regular contributor to the leading italian newsmagazine L’espresso. In 2008 he was included in a group show Menotrentuno II – Young european Photography in Sardinia. His work was exhibited and screened also in Milan, Rome, London, Washington D.C. In 2009 he was awarded with the Premio giornalistico Enzo Baldoni. Emanuele is part of LUZphoto since august 2010.
