About
Emiliano Larizza was born in Rome in 1978. He spent his childhood and adolescence in the outskirts, where he still lives. His interest in photography started in April 2001, when he met Daniele, a second father who taught him all secrets about his job: he’s his mentor. His sister Anita has influenced his love for art which motivates his passion and helps him in the constant research of what, according to him, is an essential feature in photography. He’s fascinated by the handmade and cognitive aspect of his job which has a documentary purpose for the future generations. He has been the official photographer of the Rome underground for 2 years, for whom he produces corporate and institutional images. He has travelled all around Europe and Asia. He has also been to Central America where he cooperates with the U.N. and works at projects connected to the prevention of enviromental catastrophes and human progress. He also carries on personal projects about irresponsible tourism and the immigration of Haitians to the Dominican Republic.
