I teach photography, photojournalism/documentary photography, history, geopolitcs and anthropology for the Walden School, a public charter school in Utah based on experiential learning and rigorous academics. I spend a few months a year traveling and photographing, both solo, with my family, and leading expeditions of high school students and adults. I have spent many months traveling by local bus over most of Mexico, Guatemala, India and the Western US. A published writer and poet, with extensive outdoors experience in trekking, backpacking, some rock climbing and sea kayaking work and extensive budget travel experience. Photography is mostly documentary work, photojournalism, and adventure/outdoors photography with occasional event and portrait work thrown in. I use Canon gear, Macs, and Epson printers. I have a low actuations 5D I bought on FM a few months back after selling my second Mark II. After maybe 500 or less shots added to it, Ive decided to go back to the Mark II- it suits my shooting style and the extensive, rough travel I do with the camera more, though the 12 MP of the 5D is sweet. The 5D is a beautiful camera, in superb condition, low actuations, and working perfectly. Id like to TRADE the 5D for a like condition, low click 1D Mark II or Mark IIn. If I have to, Ill sell the 5D and just buy a Mark II, but Id rather just trade across- its alot easier. Email me at:
