Eric Mehl is a photographer based in New York City specializing in editorial, documentary and corporate photography. Growing up in Lexington, Kentucky he was frequently dragged across the country on family vacations and camping trips. Although he may not have appreciated it at the time, he now credits those trips for the development of his current curiosity about the world around him.
At sixteen, he pushed his interest in photography forward, at first shooting mostly landscapes. Eventually, after a lot of waiting for people to get out of the frame, he realized he liked his pictures better with people in them.
Eric has lived in Weehawken, just across the river from New York City, for five years and has previously worked in the design and visualization fields. He strives to make stories, statistics, ideas and descriptions more real by showing the people and places they affect.
Eric is available for local, national and international assignments.
