I’ve been a staff photographer at The Philadelphia Inquirer since 1987, covering regional, national and international stories including the civil war in Chechnya, the aftermath of genocide in Rwanda and the post-apartheid era in South Africa. I work on personal projects that try to explore contemporary life in the United States, Cuba and Spain. And I photograph incessantly, all the time, everywhere, everyone.
My wife, Kass Mencher (http://alifeinphotos.blogspot.com) and I have worked for over a decade on a photographic project, “Duets”, which combines our photos into diptychs and triptychs.
