Exhibit: FABRICA: Les Yeux Ouverts - I See

FABRICA: Les Yeux Ouverts June 5, 2007 – July 15, 2007. The exhibition will reveal to the public the work of Fabrica, a multidisciplinary research centre whose horizons extend to the whole world.

Part of the exhibition investigates the global vision that characterises Fabrica’s activities, with photo-reportages from all over the world, each on a different theme grouped together under the title I See.

A visual and physical journey investigating current trends in the historical, cultural, artistic, social and economic development of the planet. Making the eyes of the world our eyes, adapting our own point of view to the realities encountered. ‘I see’ means ‘I look’ but also ‘I understand’. To carry out this project, Fabrica’s photography department closed its Treviso headquarters and went out into the world, where things happen. In a single report, six photographers have chosen their own story to tell about changes in six major geographic areas of the world: North America, South America, East, the Far East, Africa and Europe, identifying common trends or highlighting differences.
