FACES: the sequel
|
So, akaky and others asked for a new thread, as the other lovely beauty was long…so, okay…first, some words:
And when you were asked, “what shall we do with your ashes?” you nodded and spoke of glass and water and root and bloom and pointed: in that glass see the bones of my limbs, the ribs of my smile, the teeth of my skin, the blood of the water of which I am composed, finger and joint, nail and hair, breathing: two unbaked tuber branches inside, drinking, the urn of glass: i too shall flower, through loss and leave, of this.

Thanks Bob for the sequel. Here is my contribution to the thread.

Shot in Santiniketan during Holi, the festival of color.

Hi Sohrab,
Just grab the url of your photo (may be from your online archive/flickr/photobucket or whatever) and paste it in your response between two ”!” signs.
It should be like ”!” then the url then again ”!” and there should be no space between ”!” and the URL.
Looking forward to see your photo.

You know, I’ve noticed that there are not too many faces in this thread. Is everyone else seeing, or not seeing, as the case may be, this as well? And yeah, that’s a great pic, sohrab

” Imants; did you use film or digital?” both, the ones with greater depth of tone and colour are film

This strange little toy drifted across a swimming pool and in front of my lens. It makes me chuckle.
