http://www.lightstalkers.org/vera Vera comes to filmmaking through Photography and architecture. She did a workshop in Angkor Photo Festival with Antoine D'agatha in 2007. Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, vera worked as a translator for Paris Match and Sunday Magazine journalists. She had her first painting exhibition in Hong Kong in 1997. She then moved to Paris and earned a Master Degree in Architecture 2007. Her thesis research “fuck da rules” questions Manhattan city planning that detected the Economy collapsing through the Construction Boom of Manhattan. Now living in New York, vera is graduated in film making as a director [2009]. She presents her first short film “Forgotten Land” in Cannes Festival 2008. Since that time, she writes, produces and directs some more short films [2008-2009]: "Buried Future", "Honey Money Moon", "Egg Drops" and her most recent one "Elah and The Moon", Feb 2009, screening at Tribeca, New York City, Dublin, and Cannes Festival 2009.
