    <description>Roddy graduated from Glasgow Metropolitan College in November 2007 with the principals prize for the best performing student in the school of Communication and Media and a Diploma in Professional Photography and Digital Imaging.

Having gained work experience and having had his work publsihed in the Scottish Award winning Weekly The Sunday Herald, Roddy took the opportunity to go freelance with his work and now covers work in his native homeland combined with his ongoing travels which have taken him on multiple trips across four contintents.

His first major solo exhibition 'A Glasgow Story' opened to the public for a five month exhibition at St Mungo's Museum and gained positive reports for Roddy's documentation of Glasgow's African and Caribbean Community.

Following on from the exhibition Roddy was accepted to study under a faculty of America's Finest Photojournalists and Picture Editors at the 59th Missouri Photo Workshop in Chillicothe, MO.

He is currently working on personal work in China for the month of February and intends to make his first trip into South America in March of 2008.</description>
