http://www.lightstalkers.org/nico_mesterharm Nicolaus Mesterharm was born 1967 in Hamburg, Germany. He studied German Language, Economy and Musical Sciences in Heidelberg and Berlin (M.A.). In the 1990s Mesterharm worked as author and managed the media production companies D’VISION and A-VERBAL. In 1998 he directed his first TV documentary THE TRIP about 35 teenagers visiting the Terezin concentration camp (Czech Republic). His recent films for German State TV and international broadcasters (BATTLE FOR LIFE, LIFE’S A BEACH, BUILDING A DREAM) focus on development in SE Asia, where Mesterharm lives since 2001. His production company KROSSOVER is a member of the International Academy (INA) at the Free University of Berlin.
