    <description>By. Duane Wilkins and Lafotographeuse

&#8221;A picture has a way of saying a million words but to me, a photograph is a visual footprint etched in the audience's memory. I am a photographer not a &quot;digital picture taker.&quot; says Lafotographeuse
For a little over seven years the self-titled visual documentarian has experienced everything in her life: happiness, heartbreak, high school, college, a Trans-Atlantic move and the NYC club scene, through photography. Lafotographeuse is just as driven, now, as the day she decided she wanted she wanted to be a photographer. She is constantly inspired by the upward progression her assignments and commissions.
The gifted artist is currently working on her senior thesis, a photo essay about the House music, community and history in NYC. The essay will be presented in the form of book, she says. In addition to giving the world a view of the underground scene, the photo essay will illustrate her photographic range and development.
With an ever-expanding clientele list, Lafotographeuse has worked continuously as a photographer since she moved to NYC three years ago. She has worked in the concert, nightlife and wedding photography industries. She is also an experienced studio and portrait photographer.
