Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, he toured various destinations until he reached the Córdoba Mountain Range, in Argentina, where he settled down with his family.
He received a strong influence from his father and grandfather, who had both been born and educated as plastic artists in Europe and travelled the world showing their work.
His work began as an amateur photographer when he was thirteen years old. Seduced by the sceneries of San Martín de los Andes, his present place of residence, in 1995, he resolved to devote himself exclusively to learning the art and secret of lights and focus through these sights.
Ever since, he has presented his photographs in four local contests. He was awarded the first prize in three of them. Afterwards, he won the first prize at the National Photography and Mathematics Contest organized by the Culture and Education National Council.
Furthermore, in 1997, Correo Argentino (Argentinian National Postal Service) selected one of his photographs to edit the stamp that commemorated the 100th anniversary of the foundation of San Martín de los Andes.
He has presented individual and collective exhibitions in San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén and Bariloche.
In 1998, he traveled to the United States, where he acquired wide technical knowledge and, one year later, he toured around Europe and its museums, where he searched to excel himself in the artistic field.
He has cooperated as a graphic reporter in a regional newspaper and has sold articles to Caras and Gente magazines and to image banks. He has been Quilmes' exclusive photographer for its Heliski campaign and he works as a photographer for Montagne, Mustad, Fundación Favaloro, Rossignol (Spain) and Spyder. Likewise, he is a permanent collaborator of Western Horseman Magazine (USA), Geo Saison Magazine (Germany), Contraseñas Magazine, Cusine & Vines Magazine, El Conocedor Magazine, Quien Magazine, WINDS Magazine and the website Patagonialands.com.
He worked for the Agulla & Bachetti Agency, Nieves del Chapelco, La Zona, Ensatur, Plateria Celiz and countless hotel and gastronomy productions.
Along with other young photographers and graphic reporters, he created Imagenpatagonia.com, an agency and image bank focused on visual communication.
At present, he is editing his first book "San Martin de los Andes, Patagonia " and has two more projects to edit.
