    <title>Images by Imaging Tibet (Lightstalkers)</title>
    <link>http://www.lightstalkers.org/imagingtibet</link>
<description>Imaging Tibet is a photography project by students from all over the Tibetan Plateau working on cultural preservation projects, social documentary folios, and small-scale development projects aimed at reducing poverty in rural areas. We are a non-profit organization that relies wholly on donations of equipment and expertise. Project co-director Elena McKinlay, studied a BA in Photography in Australia. Co-director and film photography expert Andrew Grant is soon to begin his MA in Geography. All project members are currently students at Qinghai Normal University's Nationalities Department, in the English Training Program. This is the first time that young Tibetans in Xining have studied photography, and put it to practical use.</description>
