After that I worked on cruise ships which gave me the opportunity to see a lot of amazing places and also to travel independently in-between contracts. In all, I’ve travelled to over 70 countries and islands. One region I’ve been drawn back to time and time again is South America, in particular Argentina and the Andean regions of Chile, Bolivia and Peru. I speak conversational Spanish and have contacts in these countries, plus in-depth knowledge of their culture and the political and economic issues their inhabitants face. At the moment I’m based in the UK and I’m working as a freelancer supplying magazines with photos and articles, as well as selling my images through Alamy and the PhotoShelter Collection.
