I was born in the UK and graduated from the Blackpool & Fylde College with a BA (Hons) Photography in 1999. After that I worked on cruise ships which gave me the opportunity to see a lot of amazing places and also to travel independently in-between contracts. In all, I’ve travelled to over 70 countries and islands.

One region I’ve been drawn back to time and time again is South America, in particular Argentina and the Andean regions of Chile, Bolivia and Peru. I speak conversational Spanish and have contacts in these countries, plus in-depth knowledge of their culture and the political and economic issues their inhabitants face.

At the moment I’m based in the UK and I’m working as a freelancer supplying magazines with photos and articles, as well as selling my images through Alamy and the PhotoShelter Collection.

Magical Places Fine Art Online Photography MagazineI also run the Magical Places Fine Art Photography Online Magazine. It’s a magazine style photography blog with articles on photography, photoshop tutorials and book reviews. It also features interviews with professional and top level amateur photographers in the fields of photojournalism and stock, editorial and fine art photography.
