Born 1978 in Moldova (ex-USSR) he is a self-taught photographer who covers various styles and genres, but with an emphasis on travel photography. His collection is mostly composed of editorial images, but there are a few advertising pictures, still-life and studio photographs. He graduated in Management, continued with MA and PhD in Economics, but over the years he developed a growing passion for photography. In the spring of 2005 he settled to travel around Asia and follow his passion for travels and photography. Ever since his pictures were featured at exhibitions, published in magazines, won photography awards and used in advertising around the world. Sergiu previously lived and worked in Moldova, Romania, Turkey, China, Korea and Hong Kong. He speaks fluently four languages (English, Romanian, Russian and Turkish) and have basic knowledge of many other languages.
