Daily objects and situations are translated into symbols that express her thoughts and fascinations, creating temporary worlds in shades of gray. Obsessed with time's processes, with memory and la condition humaine, she moves through unknown places, unfamiliar memories, where they speak to her of dreams, melancholy , pain and the daily striving. Her black and white photos are taken with medium format cameras, developed and printed in her home based dark room. Unedited, Uncropped, Untouched scenes. Current projects: Via Cristalina, glass reflections/transparencies. She also started working with various plastic and older cheap cameras, using colour filters, expired film and tape. Born and raised in Smalltown, The Netherlands. Master in Arts from the University of Amsterdam.
