http://www.lightstalkers.org/nicolas-lefevre (english below french) Ne le 11 juillet 1979 a  Valence, je suis photographe en activité (Auto-entrepreneur et régime AGESSA )depuis 2006 (fin de mon BTS photographie). Après quelques mois de prises de vues pour le journal Midi Libre, je suis partis pour le nord de l'Indonésie et j'ai réalisé «Tsunami, et après ?». Ce premier reportage m'a permis de collaborer avec l'agence Deadline Photo Presse (Bureau 233), d'entrer en contact avec le Figaro Magazine et d'entamer un projet de livre avec les Editions Grandvaux. Entre 2006 et 2008, j'ai photographie la société Singapourienne et son environnement : la série d'images intitulée «My Body Is A Machine», amorce mon travail d'auteur. Dernièrement je m'intéresse aux stations balnéaires de Palavas-les-Flots et La Grande Motte, lieux populaires, insolites, riches de rencontres improbables. En somme, je propose une vision humaine de mes contemporains. Photographier les gens au plus près, dans leur intimité, dans leurs passions et leurs craintes, pour tenter le rapprochement et gommer les préjugés. In the past 2 years, I've also shot a series of pictures on the Singaporean society call : "My Body Is A Machine". Recently I'm focusing in the sea resorts of Palavas-les-Flots and La Grande Motte(south of France), popular, unusual places, and rich in improbable meetings. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to give a human vision of our contemporaries. Photograph people in closer, in their intimacy, in their passions and their fears, to tempt the link and erase the prejudices.
