Today's world is moving fast and the citizens of the earth are only rushing on desperately, no matter forward or backward. But photography has the power of make people have paused and compel to think about an image. This is the strength of photography and the trait made the medium unique amongst other forms of art. That's why I love photography and I chose to be a photographer. I love to chase after current affairs and contemporary issues as a photojournalist. Nonetheless, I am keen on to dig into a deeper level of an issue being a documentary photographer the same time.

Currently I am the Photo Chief at a Bangladeshi business daily in Dhaka, since October 2011.

Previously worked as the Team Leader, Photography at Drik Picture Library Ltd in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Simultaneously, performed as the Photo Editor of DrikNEWS, Drik's news-photo agency, for 16 months.

Before joining Drik worked at Xinhua News Agency, Dhaka Bureau for more than two years.

Previously worked at bdnews24.com, a Dhaka-based news agency and the first online newspaper in Bangladesh.

Before opting professional photography I worked at AFP Asia Pacific, Dhaka Bureau as a sub editor.

I attained my graduation in photography from Pathshala: South Asian Institute of Photography in August 2009. I graduated in Journalism from Dhaka University in 2004.
