<description>&#8230;&#8230;most of his early works are 30&#215;40 prints from 4&#215;5 black and white negatives of landscapes based on issues concerning the decay of early 20th century popular culture in the American South. In 1994, he received his B.A. in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 1995 he participated in an invitational show at the Art Directors Club in New York City after which he was asked to join the SVA Master of Fine Arts Annual Show at the Visual Arts Gallery (SOHO)NYC.
Davis currently lives with his family and works on his fine art photography in Southeast Asia, continuing to focus on depicting the beautiful and dualistic nature of everyday life and the darkness which lurks below the surface.
