    <description>Alejandro Rustom C&#225;rdenas was born in Santiago de Chile on 02 February 1968 and studied photography at the Higher Institute of Arts and Communication ARCOS.

In 1994 he began his practice in the newspaper La &#201;poca, after a season begins its work in Diario la Naci&#243;n, and then continue with his work experience at the magazine El Gr&#225;fico Chile from the newspaper El Mercurio.

At the end of 1998 starts to work on a new publishing project, in Diario El Metropolitano, where he worked as a photographer and for the last 18 months of the Journal serves as photo editor of the newspaper.

In 2008 he traveled to Caracas Venezuela, where he worked as a photographer for the British news agency Reuters as a stringer, and with some other magazines such as Ocean Drive, Life is Magazine, for the Grupo Editorial Plus (Habitat Plus and Habitat a la Carta) Etiqueta magazine, Grupo Editorial Producto (Producto Magazine, Dinero Magazine) and also did some colaborations for the Houston Chronicles and currently is a staff member of the Agency Orinoquiaphoto.

Based in Caracas Venezuela, Alejandro Rustom is an independent Photographer and is available for assignments in Venezuela and neighbor countries. Specialized in news, reportages features and documentary photography.
