In 1993 he moved to London where he studied Photojournalism. He started to freelance soon after for various Italian magazines and for a London based photo-agency. He has held exhibitions in Palermo, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Munich, Edinburgh and London. Some of the magazines where his photographs have been published include: The Guardian/Observer, The Independent, The Sunday Herald, The Telegraph.
