http://www.lightstalkers.org/aubreywade Born in the Netherlands in 1977 to British parents, Aubrey completed a degree in Social Anthropology before turning to documentary photography. His work continues to focus on social, political and cultural issues, including marginalised communities, globalisation and post-conflict societies. Based principally in London, he divides his time between assignment work and long-term personal projects, for which he has received several awards. His work has been commissioned and published by magazines internationally, including by the Observer magazine, The Telegraph Magazine, Foto8, mare, D La Republicca Delle Donne and TIME. He also takes on selected commissions for commercial clients and NGO’s, including Oxfam and Save the Children.
